Product Description: Complete standalone salt water Chlorine Generator system which includes the Control Centre, CE compliant Power Supply (different from the USA unit in the pictures), Salt Water Cell, Cell Cleaning Tube, plus standard Water and Salt test strips. Suitable to convert most non-salt water based Spa Pools to a mild salt water system. Check with us for suitability of your Spa.
By installing this system you will enjoy crystal clear Spa water, elimination of chlorine smells, reduced incidents of Spa Rash, and longer time between Spa water changes when you use our simple maintenance regime. Overall Spa running costs will be reduced through savings in not having to regularly use “balanced chlorine” granules, or other branded sanitising products.
The included 230VAC input/5.5VDC output power supply is CE compliant, and suitable for use in New Zealand. It is not water-proof, but has proven reliable when installed in the Spa Pump and Controller enclosure. It is recommended that power input is taken from the main power input to your Spa. This would normally be completed by a registered electrician.
If you wish to install the power supply in an alternative location, an optional high quality IP66 enclosure is available with the power supply already fitted, along with a 3m power cable and 3 pin plug. The additional cost is $180 + GST. It is also possible mount the Chlorine Generator controller in this enclosure.

We have found that salt levels below 2,000 ppm with hardness of 250-350 does not cause corrosion like other systems requiring higher salt levels.
